The Maternity Center at Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center is proud to announce that the first and only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for newborns in southwest Las Vegas is now open. That means our brand new NICU is ready to provide vigilant, comprehensive care and continuous life support for high-risk newborns and infants with complex, critical illnesses.

18 Beds
Each private room includes sleeper recliner and flat screen TV’s
Parent’s room and family lounge
Families have access to refrigerator and freezer for nursing moms
Oversize bays with privacy curtains to accommodate multiples
Giraffe isolettes to help ensure minimal stimulation for micro-preemies
Adjustable thermostats/high-frequency ventilation system
Specially-designed headwalls allow caregiver easy access to infants
Monitors to provide onvenient unit communication
Dedicated NICU-specific transport team
Skilled neonatologists, nurses and other medical professionals
